Objectives

Adrianne wanted to refresh her brand’s identity with a new logo that reflects the essence of their new spa location, and the quality of services they offer. She desired a modern, elegant, and timeless design that would resonate with her target audience, convey professionalism, and catch people’s eye.

Client Background:

Adrianne Lee Esthetics LLC is a reputable New York spa ran by esthetician Adrianne Croce, specializing in high-quality esthetician services.

The spa offers a range of treatments aimed at enhancing natural beauty and promoting self-care. With a loyal clientele base and a commitment to excellence, Adrianne Lee Esthetics LLC prides itself on providing personalized experiences tailored to each client's unique needs.

Design Process:   

Research & Ideation:

To kick off the project, Adrianne shared inspiration photos with me, providing insights into her aesthetic preferences and the ambiance she aimed to cultivate. I delved into her website and current social media channels to gather additional branding ideas and understand her existing visual language. Through frequent brainstorming sessions with Adrianne, we explored various concepts and directions for the logo.

Creation:

Utilizing Adobe Illustrator, I began crafting customized line art that captured the essence of Adrianne Lee Esthetics. Drawing inspiration from our collaborative brainstorming sessions and the visual cues provided by Adrianne, I iteratively refined the design to ensure it aligned seamlessly with her vision. Regular meetings were held to solicit feedback directly from Adrianne, allowing for an iterative process that ensured the final product met her expectations.

Animation:

To further enhance the visual appeal and engagement of the lineart portion of the logo, I used animation techniques to bring it to life.

After finalizing the design in Adobe Illustrator, I exported the lineart elements and imported them into Adobe Photoshop for animation.

Leveraging Photoshop's robust animation tools, I meticulously crafted a looping GIF that mimicked the appearance of the lineart being drawn. The delicate floral aspects the woman's silhouette are seamlessly drawn in unison to show the connection between womanhood, beauty and wellness.

The resulting GIF served as a captivating visual asset, enriching Adrianne Lee Esthetics' online presence and captivating the attention of viewers with its mesmerizing motion.

Results:

The resulting logo as shown in Adrianne’s brand new spa when you first walk in embodies the essence of Adrianne Lee Esthetics, serving as a visual representation of the spa's commitment to quality and sophistication.

The business name, "Adrianne Lee," is elegantly rendered in a script font, exuding a sense of personal connection and warmth, while "Esthetics" is presented in a refined sans-serif font, conveying professionalism and modernity.

Success of the Project:

The project's success is evident in the widespread adoption and positive reception of the new logo across various touchpoints. Adrianne seamlessly integrated the logo into her social media channels, website, business cards, signage for her new spa location, and merchandise, reinforcing brand consistency and visibility.

Feedback from clients and stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive, with many commending the logo's ability to capture the essence of Adrianne Lee Esthetics and leave a lasting impression. Overall, the project achieved its objectives of refreshing the brand identity and strengthening Adrianne Lee Esthetics' positioning as a reputable and distinguished spa in New York.
